Digitizing the entire operation of a school yearbook vendor using Odoo 18 Enterprise. The solution unifies commercial flows (Sales, POS, Invoicing) with internal HR operations (Payroll, Employees) and critical asset management (Custody, Maintenance), ensuring every production asset is tracked and every transaction is accounted for.
Implemented a robust Odoo 18 system to manage the full lifecycle of yearbook production and sales. Scope includes Sales & POS for revenue capture, standardized Invoicing for financial control, and a complete HR suite (Employees + Payroll) for team management. Crucially, the system introduces detailed Asset Custody and Maintenance tracking to secure production equipment.
Deployed on a centralized VPS with Nginx reverse proxy for secure access. The environment is managed via Git-based CI/CD workflows to ensure controlled module updates and reliable rollback capabilities, backed by scheduled database backups.
Leveraged Odoo Sign and Documents to create a paperless approval environment. Internal document lifecycles are automated, allowing for digital signatures on critical agreements and asset custody handovers, ensuring auditability and compliance.
